Scandinavia in the Age of Sail
HISTORY BLOG AND BOOK SERIES
A history blog on the sea trade in Northern Europe, the Great Northern War, and the works of Just Knud Qvigstad.
A historical fiction book series set in eighteenth-century Denmark-Norway, with a nod to Norse folklore and a thread of romance. Ten no-spice novels with temporary titles under construction.

An amateur historian, I found four centuries of interesting Scandinavians in my ancestry. A particular soldier in the Norwegian artillery inspired six years of research and a mostly fictional story world of ten novels. I have read widely on military and religious conflicts prior to 1750. My history blog is a hobby and will always be ad-free.
All writing on my blog and in my books is my own, with no AI generation.
I’ve included a photo tour of a historical miniature collection on my blog as a free and often-visited virtual museum. The pieces belong to a large extended family and are not for sale.
