I earned a BA in French and computer science from Wellesley College, where I cut my literary teeth on tragic French novels and wrote a computer program that diagrammed sentences.
I write among those who followed the drum in the eighteenth century. A military record for a particular soldier in the Norwegian artillery inspired a mostly fictional world of nine novels.
I will pursue publication of my series of stand-alone novels when five of the second drafts are written–as early as 2028. The other novels are prequels and sequels to the central story. For now, enjoy my blog where I log my research on eighteenth century Scandinavia. My blog also houses a photo tour of a family heirloom miniature collection, with “A Miniature Carl Larsson Christmas” the most viewed series. I pay for SSL encryption on my website, so you can visit my blog safely and anonymously.
