I earned a BA in French and computer science from Wellesley College, where I cut my literary teeth on tragic French novels and wrote a computer program that diagrammed sentences..
A former seamstress for a ballet company, I discovered that I descend from a line of tailors in Norway and decided to write them a story. A military spouse, I am also hiding memoir in history–writing amidst those who followed the drum in the eighteenth century.
I will pursue publication of my novels when all of the second drafts are written, as early as 2028. For now, enjoy my blog where I log my research on early Scandinavia, with entries on the Great Northern War and eighteenth century shipping ports in Europe. My blog also houses a photo tour of a family heirloom miniature collection, with “A Miniature Carl Larsson Christmas” the most viewed series.
